Blue Lake Estates is a community that consists of three major entities.
Llano County MUD #1
Blue Lake Estates POA
and the Blue Lake Golf Course
Residents in Blue Lake Estates are water, sewer, and garbage customers with Llano County MUD #1. All three services are billed to the customer by rate order. Water is treated and distributed by Llano County MUD #1 at the Water Treatment Plant. The District is a Firm water customer to the LCRA for raw water from Lake LBJ. Residents are responsible to adhere to any drought response measures that are adopted by the District for water use. Sewer services are provided by Llano County MUD #1. Grinder systems are required at each residence. The grinder system is purchased by the property owner, and the equipment is provided by the District. Residents are provided with residential trash and recycling services by Llano County MUD #1. Residential trash services are provided to every home via a residential toter at your home or the community dumpsters located at 3003 Blue Lake Drive. There is a single stream recycling container located near golf course near the storage units, south of Bluebonnet Road.
There is an active POA in the community of Blue Lake Estates. Blue Lakes Estates POA is responsible for the community CCR's, Architectural Control Committee, parks, events, and also oversees the financial operations of Blue Lake Golf Course.
